Detailed Job Description
Role involving critical pro-active monitoring and troubleshooting on NAS, NetApp / Switches / Networker / Avamar / Data Domain assets.
This role also requires incumbent to perform health checks, respond to customer calls and coordinate high/critical impact issues.
As per available scope, the employee needs to help solve Level1 issues across EMC technologies and be conscious about SLA adherence, Process adherence, written and spoken communication etiquette and speedy resolution across.
Regularly communicates status of project and all applicable customer issues to the project owner.
When applicable, advises project owner on level of effort required to perform assigned implementations.
Adheres to proper alert and escalation procedures. Keeps appropriate management personnel informed.
Essential Requirements:

Knowledge on Storage Products and Backups products
Problem Solving for multi-level, multi-tier environment.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Understanding of process maturity, management, and optimization.
Strong written, documentation, and communication skills.
Organizational and multi-tasking skills to balance and prioritize work effectively
Strong analytical skills, soft skills, and customer service abilities are required.
Interpersonal and interviewing skills to gather information from personnel.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
