Detailed Job Description
Carry revenue targets for the Enterprise & Govt business through Solution Provider Partners for designated territories.
Recruit/ Enable / Develop and engage with solution provider partners for opportunity identification, progression and closing.
Drive partners to achieve VMware business in the Enterprise & Govt segment.
Facilitate the participation of solution provider partners in Enterprise & Govt opportunities.
Activate the resellers – by getting the resellers to conduct activities that build their pipeline or help them close business in the assigned segment.
Create and maintain plans for a select set of managed partners to ensure that VMware’s business goals are met and at the same time, partner profitability is compelling enough to keep the partner engaged in our business.
Ensure that Partners are leveraging all our programs to improve their engagement and loyalty with VMware.
Drive partners to generate leads and acquire net new customers in the assigned segment.
Schedule and lead regular QBRs with Focused partners engaged in Business. To create, manage and measure the GTM aspects with these partners.

10+ Years of work experience in the IT industry, with a minimum of 5 years in Software Sales.
Significant exposure to Channel/Partner sales or Direct sales with an Enterprise Vendor, especially in the key Enterprise verticals.
Proven experience with proactively engaging in attracting new channel partners
Proven experience in working with major global/local distributors and resellers
Experience with moving a significant amount of software product on a national scale in India, preferably Virtualization, Application tools and frameworks.
Superior written and oral communication skills.
