Detailed Job Description
Identifies and manages complex or disputed issues of which have major day-to-day impact on area of responsibility and resolves with minimal guidance from Regional Security Head.
Considered a subject matter expert (SME) in Safety and Security and often called upon by others throughout the company to provide guidance.
Accountable for results in projects that may have the potential to impact the Safety and Security of all Accenture employees.
Plans and prioritizes complex activities that deal with Safety and Security initiatives. This includes recommendations on process improvements and the oversight of development of new procedures.
Identifies new opportunities and needs within area of responsibility and independently develops solutions to address gaps.
Deals with difficult and sensitive situations appropriately by using judgment to make a variety of decisions, most complex in nature.
Applies functional knowledge and understanding of policies, procedures, and operational frameworks to anticipate and address business issues.
Manages contract relationships with external service providers (manage contracts, review performance against strategy and budget) within area of responsibility and resolves contract issues and disputes.
Provides input to operating and capital budgeting and reporting for the location operating budget. Adheres to capital and operating budgets.
Reviews and approves payment requests and vendor invoices as necessary.
Actively participates in sharing best practices across areas or functions.
Develops and implements processes, procedures and/or initiatives within area of responsibility with limited direction required.
Manpower management and automation to achieve optimization of security systems in the industry.
Operates with a large degree of autonomy and independence while overseeing operations of moderate scope, and moderate ambiguity, risk, unpredictability and diversity.
Manages positive relationships with all internal and external customers/vendors and independently resolves issues.
Serves as an escalation point for the Security Operations Centre. Independently determines optimal solution to recommend on all mid-level issues and seeks guidance from the Regional Security Head for critical issues.
Provide physical security for meetings involving large executive or client attendance within area of responsibility; coordinates on site security, medical and local law enforcement support accordingly
Provides liaison between vendors, procurement and local management in locations.
Provides assistance in developing Life Safety,Crisis Management Plans for locations in geographic areas of responsibilities.
Performs location Physical Security Review
Responsible for keeping visibility on all to provide inputs which create early warning on all the current and upcoming events in the state and city that could impact critical operations of the company.
Provides on-scene crisis management response and assistance. Coordinates crisis response with Global Security Command Centre.
Activates local emergency management teams for disaster response
Coordinates vendor/contractor response involvement
Supports the investigations team with ad hoc requests.
Any Graduate + Retired Commissioned Officer from armed forces. Total experience of 10 years is required. Experience in Corporate Security domain is preferred.
Hands on experience on CCTV, Access Control, VMS, PIDs, Transport Security Devices, Fire safety Devices and instructional abilities
ISO certifications, EHC Certifications, Certifications in Safety and Security Domain, affiliations with OSAC, ASIS, ISOS or any equivalent organizations
Experience in managing the implementation and support of information technology project.
Excellent communications skills, written and verbal.
Willingness to learn/work in teams and be able to communicate effectively within the team.
