Detailed Job Description
Automate reports & processes to eliminate manual intervention using VBA.
Provide data and analysis for the marketing resource management systems in WW marketing
Apply Analytics to interpret data, perform the route cause analysis, derive insights and provide recommendations to Marketing Executives
Provide regular reporting (through Tableau) on marketing resources to all senior marketing executives and drive standardization across units.
Ensure data readiness for use in analysis on a weekly basis, cross verify data accuracy with multiple sources before application
Convert data in an easily consumable format and have a view of end to end business performance and scale analytics sets to highlight trends, gaps and opportunities
You will support identification of problem areas, pervasive business issues, do deep dive root cause analysis and offer insights to help the marketing leaders have a comprehensive view of their business & marketing performance
Quantitative and Qualitative analysis of resource mix in conjunction with marketing expenses and revenue performance through various metrics
Using predictive modeling tools to draw inferences based on historical performance and develop prescriptive actions to improve resource mix
Collaborate with other disciplines and teams in different functions in IBM to form a cohesive team supporting IBM Marketing
Adhere to timelines and have back-ups identified for key tasks
Ensure high quality and consistency is maintained for all work, have peer review process in place and maintain communication channels with key partners

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Demonstrate quantitative techniques to analyze data and make recommendations
Proficiency in resource dashboard and related databases
Strong with statistical concepts, ability to co-relate data sets, can test hypothesis, draw inferences and make decisions based on facts and data
Knowledge of IBM Sales and Marketing data sources ESA, MPW, ADR, SCODS
Should have strong knowledge on SQL & VBA
Expertise on IBM marketing reporting platforms Sunrise, Pearl
5+ years of experience in reporting & analysis using VBA, SQL, Tableau, SPSS, Cognos preferably with sales and/or marketing functions
Consultancy skills - can partner with multiple clients, ask questions, use problem solving techniques and develop trustable working relations
Visualization and Storyboarding -ability to draw inferences, visualize business performance, highlight gaps and translate into actionable recommendations

Preferred Tech and Prof Experience
Business insight & industry knowledge a plus
MBA from top institutes preferred, Bachelors Degree in mathematics, statistics or finance
Agile - willingness to take up new challenges, work on different ways to aim issues, be agile in everyday tasks
