Detailed Job Description
You will drive the impact IBM Solutions will have on our Clients Business. This requires you to learn quickly the dynamics of the industries that our clients are in, the technical environment including existing challenges, to craft winning solutions.
Position IBM as a preferred, total IT solutions and services partner
Build and manage trust based, meaningful and long term relationships with CXOs, LOB executives and clients.
Work as a contributing member in the customer engagement team and provide technical assistance in strongly positioning IBM products/solutions to help win the business
Address RFPs/tenders
Collaborate with Business Partner organizations for joint success.
Work with various partners internal/external, to ensure successful, ongoing business relations with client.
Deliver relevant solution to clients requirements while ensuring technical feasibility ; drive implementation planning and ensure successful deployment
Engage and deliver Proof-of-Concepts (PoCs), trainings and product demos
Contribute to re-usable documentation, customer success stories (case studies), industry trends among peers, industry community and press.

Required Professional and Technical Expertise
Min 7+ years experience in domain Sales Expertise and Industry knowledge for selling
You are a self starter, a positive and persuasive influencer who is abreast on the latest in technology, competition and industry landscape.
You have proven technical skills (hands-on) on IBM Storage and related software technologies like backup, virtualization, and parallel file systems
Ability to size a solution based on client requirements
Practiced at clearly communicating your ideas verbally and in writing
Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise
Expertise in Operating systems and architectures
Block, File and Object Storage technologies
Understanding of replication technologies, RPO/RTO, delivering zero data loss solutions, Oracle reports, OS reports
Building architectures for Storage, Backup, Cloud, and Analytics
Understanding of common application landscapes like SAP, Oracle Apps, Core Banking solutions, cognitive, analytics, Data warehousing, and HPC
Knowledge and the ability to compare effectiveness of various offerings and applications
